Technology
Shared templatePage depth

Real page and copy, deepened with client material. It measures written material, not capacity. This division takes work today either way.

Training exists because equipment does not produce anything on its own. A lab that buys three printers and a scanner without training them into a workflow generally has three printers and a scanner sitting idle within a term, and the machines get blamed for it.

Programs are delivered on the machines the team will actually use, in the space they will actually use them. Generic training on a demo unit in a hotel conference room transfers much less than people expect, because most of what goes wrong is specific to a room, a material and a workload.

The catalogue runs from introductory printing and CAD through scanning, digital fabrication and drone mapping, at introductory to advanced level. Where training accompanies an equipment purchase it is delivered as part of that installation rather than sold back separately afterwards.

Capability

What this division does

01

Institutional programs

Multi-day cohorts for universities, technical colleges and makerspaces, sized to the lab they have.

02

Team training

On-site operator training delivered as part of an equipment installation, not sold back separately afterwards.

03

Certification pathways

Progressive levels with an assessment at the end, so a certificate means something to an employer.

Audience

Who commissions this

Universities and technical colleges running fabrication labs

Makerspaces training members on shared equipment

Teams who have just bought equipment and need it producing

Individuals building toward a certification

Deliverables

What you actually receive

Named artefacts rather than adjectives: the things that exist at the end, and can be checked against this list.

01

Delivered instruction

Hands-on cohort sessions on the equipment the team will operate, sized to the lab available.

02

Course materials

Written notes, exercise files and reference sheets that stay with the team afterwards.

03

An assessment result

A practical assessment at the end, so a pass reflects capability rather than attendance.

04

A certificate

Issued on the certification pathways, at the level assessed.

Questions

Asked before commissioning

The questions that come up on nearly every enquiry, answered here so the first call can start further along.

Because the registration, scheduling and payment system is deliberately not part of this build. The catalogue itself is still settling, and shipping a booking flow against a catalogue that is about to change would mean rebuilding it. It is priced as a separate module and taken once the courses are fixed. Enquiries are answered by a person in the meantime.

Yes, and that is the usual case. Training happens on your machines, in your space, against the work your team actually does.

Operator training is delivered as part of an equipment installation rather than quoted back afterwards. Deeper programs beyond initial handover are scoped separately.

The pathways are progressive and end in a practical assessment, so a certificate says the holder produced working output under observation. It is not an accredited national qualification, and it is described that way rather than dressed up as one.
