DesignArchitecture & Design is where a building is decided rather than drawn. Most of what determines whether a project is pleasant to live in, affordable to build and possible to permit is settled in the first few weeks, long before anyone is producing pretty elevations.
The work runs from a site study through concept, design development and a permit-ready set. Review happens in short weekly loops rather than as one long reveal at the end, because a client who sees the design every week can redirect it cheaply, and a client who sees it once at the end can only accept or reject it.
What makes this division unusual is what sits beside the drawings: a printed scale model, made in the same workshop. Clients read a model in seconds and a section drawing in twenty minutes, and objections that would have surfaced during construction surface instead across a table.

We prepare the set to what the reviewing authority asks for and support the submission, including responses to reviewer comments. Whose name goes on the application depends on the jurisdiction, and that gets settled at the start rather than discovered at the end.
Yes, and it is common. If the existing set is incomplete or the building was never documented, 3D Scanning captures the as-built condition first and this division works from that.
It is quoted as part of the package rather than sold back afterwards. The model comes off the same geometry as the drawings, so producing it is a print rather than a second design exercise.
Revisions are expected on any real project. What matters is that they are issued as a numbered revision against the original set, so the contractor is never guessing which drawing is current.
